The cuisine of Agriturismo Chiai Francesco is an expression of the long Ogliastra tradition.
In our farmhouse, through the preparation of traditional dishes, the story of a unique territory is told. Hands, heart and memory are engaged in repeating ancient gestures handed down from generation to generation. There are no dos and don'ts or recipes but experience, dexterity and attachment to one's roots.



Mother's love and touch are the secret ingredients used in our kitchen.

What to taste

In the large panoramic veranda you can enjoy our selection of cured meats, potato and mint culurgioni closed by hand with the classic herringbone process, mallorreddus with meat sauce or vegetables, suckling pig strictly cooked on a spit and laid on a bed of fragrant myrtle, boiled sheep and pork with cannonau.

Pecorino cheese accompanied by grapefruit jam and "casu ageru" another excellence of Ogliastra dairy production cannot be missed. Desserts have the scent of almonds and lemon or fresh ricotta cheese: macaroons, mustaccioli, bianchini, and sweet ravioli made with orange ricotta cheese, close the meal and bring thoughts back to the festive days.
